ROBOPLANET signs a multi-year agreement with Total SE to develop solutions for inspecting hard-to-access equipment
In the fourth quarter of 2020, ROBOPLANET formalized a technical collaboration agreement with TOTAL ENERGIES focused on the development and qualification of robotic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) solutions.
This agreement, named PANDA, paves the way for the deployment of robotic solutions capable of performing metrological inspections at height, minimizing the exposure of operators to risks, while delivering financial benefits. The collected data enables predictive maintenance of equipment.
A successful first collaborative project :
The PANDA project is part of the continuation of work that began in 2017.
The initial results were recognized with an award at the TOTAL ENERGIES internal competition « RC IND SUCCESS, » which highlights the group’s internal initiatives in safety and innovation.
